What SocialWire keeps about the people who sign in (readers, creators, the team) or write to us, in plain words. The short version of the privacy policy.
This is where readers follow and save, creators post, and our team reviews SocialWire. Who runs SocialWire (the data fiduciary), and the Grievance Officer you can write to, are named on the privacy policy and the grievance page. Accounts are for people aged 18 or over.
Your login: your email, your name and your password. The password is kept scrambled, so even we cannot read it. This is a Nevorai login, so the same email and password can open other Nevorai products.
If you join free as a reader: the same login, plus the creators and issues you follow, your alert choices and the alerts we send you, your saves, the people and pages you restrict or mute, the items you hide, and the devices you are signed in on (a short label, never your network address). Nobody else can see these lists.
Your page: your Instagram name, your photo, the short bio, the links and the follower count shown on it. This part is public, because that is what a page is for.
Your reels: the copy of each video and picture you add or post as a reply. You can remove a reel at any time and we delete our copy.
Your proof and your licence: the code you put in your Instagram bio, your follower count on the day we checked it, and a record of the licence you accepted (the version, the date and a scrambled version of your network address). We keep the record while your account is open and for one year after, to show that you gave permission.
If you apply to post: your Instagram name, the follower number and the note you type, and our decision.
What you file: the threads you post and the replies you send.
A log of actions: who did what and when (for example a thread approved, a reel taken down), with the reason. We keep it so that every decision can be explained.
The complaint and reply forms: the name, email and message you type, and the reel or page it is about. We use them only to read and answer you. Your email is never shown on the site.
The "Report wrong information" button on an issue page: what you type is wrong, the link to proof and the email if you choose to give them, the page and the language. You do not need to sign in. Only our team and Orbit read it; what you write is never shown on the website. Your email goes when the report is dismissed, or 30 days after you sent it when the page was right, and closed reports are deleted 90 days after you sent them.
Short-lived technical records: your network address is used for a moment to slow down guessing of passwords and misuse of the forms. We keep only a scrambled code that changes every day, and it is deleted within a day.
Only the cookies SocialWire needs: the sign-in cookie, a mark that says a sign-in cookie is there, and small settings cookies for the theme, Autoplay, the remembered tab, the width of the side menu and which part of a page was open. The full list is on the privacy policy. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The forms you can send without signing in load a bot check from Cloudflare (Turnstile).
Supabase keeps the database and the shared Nevorai login. Vercel hosts this website (Mumbai region). Cloudflare stores and delivers the reel copies and photos (R2 and media.nevorai.com) and runs the bot check. Resend sends our emails. Apify reads public Instagram information when you or our team ask us to. Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude) are the AI models behind Orbit. Some of them may handle data outside India. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Nevorai's AI reads this data. Nevorai's AI assistant, Orbit, helps our team run SocialWire and can read the same information as the team. A person on our team decides everything that is published, hidden, removed or suspended.
Each kind of data has a set time, shown in the table on the privacy policy, and a clean-up job runs every day. If you delete your account, nothing happens for 14 days; then your SocialWire data and membership are deleted. Threads you filed that are already on the site, and your reels that a published thread or issue page uses as evidence, stay public with your name, handle and photo taken off (they show "Deleted account"). Reports are kept as a record without your name or email.
You can see what we keep: in Settings, open Privacy and press Download my data.
You can correct your page and your settings in the app.
You can delete your account: in Settings, open Account and press Delete my account. Nothing happens for 14 days; sign in and press Cancel the deletion to stop it. Your Nevorai login stays if you use another Nevorai product.
You can complain about how we handle your information to our Grievance Officer, named on the grievance page, and then to the Data Protection Board of India.
